No wonder the Dodo was hunted a pigeon that could not, fly poor critter.
no I like your little doves rather than the showy pigeon. We have doves here but they look a bit rough, I expect they will improve as they become tamer and visit the bird tables. I will have to try and take pictures through the window but it will need a good scrub One for Archie I think. Indecently he told me on his milk rounds he sometimes saw rats on the bird tables at night. He did do country rounds and he left a notes to warn the owners ,

Beautiful birds! We have the mourning doves here, as well as pigeons that tend to be a bit larger, I think...And I guess you're going to have a full house...

I love your doves. I like mine, but they are just the plain old kind. I've never had any like yours.

Its nice to have family over for Thanksgiving.. and 3 days is the perfect length of a stay... not too long and not too short :-) Dodos are extinct ...aren't they? I think I saw that in a cartoon. I hope you have a wonderful holiday next week xoxoxo
