Great verse, Pat!

Beethoven is my favorite composer and his gift is all the more incredible considering his loss. I wrote a poem about him once...:)

It is interesting to me that most are not recognized in what they think is their talent. The dormant or latent talent is most recognized and after the fact. Go figure.

The story of his first public presentation of his Ninth Symphony
is very moving: After it finished, he thought everyone hated it... until someone kindly turned him to face the cheering, applauding, on-their-feet audience.
Can you imagine what it was like inside his head? Music all the time!

Pat
Great idea! I'm sure he won't just get his hearing back, he'll also get the best piano money can buy, quills and paper and he'll be composing more of his divine music, to be played at the nightly concerts. Rock concerts will be held at the other place...

What some people tend to forget is that Beethoven was so deaf he thought he was a painter . . .
