Aside from burning stuff in a no-fire zone, there are remarkable moments in that poem...

I guess you have been busy Lion, hope you escaped the gale. Well sometimes one gets that feeling of apprehension, perhaps it is a conscience pricking, what I might have thought.

Re: DR JPT
True Doc, but different cultures may have slightly different ways
of judging a remark. Also when one is replying to comments
and thinking off the top of one's head one may
inadvertently slip in words out of context nice to see you back.

Re: Pretty in pink!
I think honestly plain wrapper Ray, but nothing is that easy. When one is young one does not think of potential health hazards of course things are more stringent now, but many have found conditions which were thought normal have had dire consequences. Yes I am wary of smoke I don't mind wood smoke, but I think it is all better avoided.

Beautiful flowers. People perceive differently the actions of others. Knowing in your heart that you do and have done the right thing is the key to personal contentment.

Pretty in pink!

The flower that is..:) An in and out kitty would have no spot on my bed either, much as I love furry breath. Careful the smoke, CC, not good for the lungs; they work best in pink too!
And the poem is deep and excellent - makes me ponder what truly binds us to another - love or plain wrapper need...

Re: lusterlove
Well we have an odd fox or two, but anyway the cat can get into the greenhouse through a small gap so it is pretty safe. No sooner does it come indoors than it wants to go out again.

Re: Jimmy
I would not trust him , but he saves any bits of wood for his F.I.L. Not very graciously
I admit, but his motive is preserving the family wealth I surmise.

Re:
Well Kabu I tried one of Archie's pickles and Arthur said it gave me dog breath, so I guess they will compost. Yes a very indignant look when I turfed her off, well she has got her own heated blanket in the greenhouse I don't take a nap on her bed.

cats always love the warmth and comfort of your bed...plus your smell tells it that it is where you sleep and the cat feels safe.
a small fire still makes a fair amount of smoke. Wiley lights one here too often too.

Whatever you do, just makes sure Archie remembers to put the fence pieces on the fire, and not the cat! I mean, the cat may be giving you dirty looks, but it wouldn't deserve that fate . . .

I do believe they're able to distill clues from the universe and devise their own justice for imagined slights - especially if whatever meets with their disapproval has nothing whatsoever to do with them.

Sounds like you were rude to the cat. LOL. I would have been also. I'm one of those mean people that doesn't want animals on my bed. Pitiful used to sleep under my bed and that was close enough for me.
