Hard to fall asleep sometimes when you're still laughing at something you read earlier! Besides, I don't think Sir Wiley would appreciate being woken up in the middle of the night because you were still chuckling at something I wrote! Don't get me in trouble now . . .

Thanks, pricklypear. Glad you enjoyed them. And believe it or not, I have tried to get a column going in a few periodicals with writings such as this. Some magazines I found to be somewhat stuffy and too serious I thought would appreciate something humorous like this as a change of pace, but a strange thing happened each time. I would send a few examples, and one editor would love it and one would be, let's say, less-than-enthused, for some reason. The result was a "rejection" each time! Oh well. I'll keep trying, I guess. Meanwhile, I'll try to keep everyone in Blog-it land entertained . . .

Funny, FSI, and yet somewhat frightening! Unfortunately, I actually know a couple of cocaine-users ( I refuse to touch the stuff myself ) and the last thing any of them probably needs is to have their personalities "intensified" . . .

I believe I do, C C T, and thanks. I do try to be versatile, and show that I can be humorous as well as serious. Yes, there have been many times when I have left what I felt was a sincere, reasonable, well-thought out comment to someone's posting and got no response or recognition whatsoever. I suppose responding is more of a "courtesy" than anything else, but it would be cool if it were more prevalent . . .

I cannot help marveling at your versatility Jimmy. I am sure I searched yesterday to see if you had answered your previous post. Well now we have competent answers and a new blog of funnies.
