One of the beauties of nature is that not all of the "clippings" need to be cleaned up! Mother Nature will always find a way of breaking them down and reusing them for something else. "Natural compost" . . . that's the ticket!

Re: That last bit was surreal.

The explanation was simple Pat.Years later I reviewed that scene and found it was an Aunt who was a bit of a tease. She was pushing a grinning doll up against the window and when I looked she withdrew it quickly.

Re: I'm glad to hear you are dry and sunny today.

Alas today is Water World Ciel. One thing when it finishes there are no snow men looking sadly at one.

Re: CCT

He missed his vocation a Traffic Warden Naut. We were a few fields away from a massive gyspy encampment Naut. Ours' was not a proper caravan but a steam roller living van. My father bought a field instead of a row of cottages with his small inheritance. Good thinking if one lives to be 100.

It is cold here and I have thrown my back out, but the poetry and the picture were well worth the pain.

We had a sunny but very blustery day today...It is interesting how a conscience affects oneself. A lot of interesting things will occur.

CCT

Archie seems to grumble a lot - one of these days he'll probably form a union, LOL...And the poem appears to be snatches of early childhood memories, but I didn't realize that you grew up in a caravan among the travelling folk...

That last bit was surreal.

I think it's time for me to have a cup of decaf and put my feet up, watch silly comedies for a bit.
