That's good to hear. And most of the time, people don't have to look for faulty systems with their various appliances. They seem to happen all by themselves! Yes, I have heard of several incidents over the years where people complained enough to a certain company, and got some pretty decent compensation for their troubles. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, don't ya know . . .

I never buy a guarantee as rule. Nevertheless appliances should last a good couple of years at least. I know it is not very nice but if one does not reveal a fault it does not help the company in the long run. No I would not buy refurnished or whatever they call the project. If you ever buy from a local store make sure it is still boxed and unopened if possible. Returns are not kosher .
