- Go to Hack Attack - Windows vs Mac
I think, these days, the "hackers" are so persistent and so determined, that it probably doesn't really matter if you have a mac or a PC, or if you are diligent in securing your passwords. If they want to get in, they'll get in! No one is really safe anymore . . .

I never think much about security, but when I think of all I have on this machine I should re-think my thinking...But it hurts so much.

You're definitely not alone. Someday maybe we'll find a better way to do this. But for now just keep trying :).
Be well

Naut
I'm glad the puns are OK. I sometimes unleash them without even knowing it :). You're not alone when it comes to acting "securely" with your computer. SOmeday though, I think it kids will learn about this stuff from the beginning - like looking both ways before you cross the street.
Thanks for the comment

Sour Grapes
Very interesting post, but I must admit, I have a lot of trouble remembering passwords or storing them in such a place or way to find what I need. Mostly I just give up when I can't seem to hack my own sites, and say to myself, "I didn't want to go there anyway!"

Until now, I did not give thought about how one system may be more susceptible to malware than another. A very interesting read this entry is.

You make some very interesting points, and you also remind me that I am far too lackadaisical when it comes to security...Oh, and we do allow puns here, LOL...

I get a lot of bad email...they are going to quarantine and I delete without opening. I can't tell you how many thousands I have supposedly earned from different places. LOL Very imformative post.
