ROFLOL...they are such fun really and always amuse with their antics...and I have bad news...real bad news. They will have cachets put away for Winter and you can bet that they will be bringing them to your Porch for ...Oh well months probably. Well you could offer them an alternative treat....love it. Now get back to writing that story...

Why do you not shell the walnuts and use them Pat .
If they were that abundant I would collect them when they were green
and pickle some. I keep telling Arthur but like the idle wind he heedeth not.
I used to climb the trees and knock them down, but not too wise these days.
The rooks keep taking the ones from the trees behind my house, so it could
be worse if they discovered the taste of yours.

Well written. I am torn about squirrels. They sure are fun to watch, but they also can make some awful messes and problems.
