Yeah, it's a fine line between getting something that works for you vs. getting something that seems to work against you! And it seems that, every time something is "up-graded," things get worse! Business is business, but not at the expense of my patience . . .

Naut
I hear ya. In the Apple world we basically force people to upgrade about every two years. It is done subtly - by removing support for certain 'features,' or someone will buy their shiny new iPhone take it home and realize it won't connect to the computer they spent $2000 on just 4-5 years ago. Hardware is used to outdate software AND software is used to outdate hardware. It is a vicious trap.
Thanks for commenting.
BTW - shhhhh don't tell anyone but I'm thinking of getting a PC laptop ;)

I think this trend of churning out 'new' stuff in the interest of sales is endemic to the whole industry - MS does it too. What really ticks me off is that, after April 2014, they will no longer support my current system (Windows XP Professional), literally forcing me to go to Windows 7 (my LSW has it, I don't like it) or Windows 8, which I hate, as do many people, who see it as a failure...
