LLM, Sadly it is better to be cared for than not treated properly,
you cannot take on a big dog like this.
It needs exercise and a place to run around in. No, lets hope someone caring
will adopt and give it a few years of comfort. I estimate it would cost you
50 dollars a week my cat costs approx 15 dollars without medication
and it is not really mine.

There are outfits that specialize in placing dogs that need a new home! That's how we got our doggie Ben, a GSP, after our Jag passed away, when I decided that we would take a 'rescue dog'. It's been a wonderful experience, and I certainly hope Jake finds a new home soon...

A lady at a place I once worked was taking her cat to the Humane Society, but I just could not let her do it, as I feared for the poor animal. It was Halloween Eve, so on the way home with our new kitty I thought the name Spooky Tooth to be fitting. That was seven years ago and needless to say she is family now. I feel so bad for the dog, but we are so far away...2
