AS a Born in NY Yankees fan
It was not my favorite World Series to watch. But the only thing more annoying to me than a Red Sox fan are ST Louis fans - especially out here in the midwest
-Be well

I am sorry I missed this one yesterday as I have always been a Sox fan, and it it is all because of Ted Williams that I am the fan I am. The story of his last at bat has made me a believer, not only in the Sox and baseball, but in those who have the strength to stand up even when no one would blame them for sitting down.

Hey, as a baseball fan, I can give credit where credit is due, whether I'm a Red Sox fan or not. As for next season, who knows? But I guess I'm going to have to be the one to plop the fly into this ointment and say those magic words you do not want to hear . . . GO YANKEES! There, I said it! C'mon, c'mon, calm down! You knew there had to be at least one, didn't you . . . ?

I agree, congrats to them, though being a Missourian, I would have liked to see the Cards win.

The team whose name begins with a "Y"
Gee, right now I can't think of one...
I'm glad Boston got some good news and something to celebrate. It was a good game.
