I am afraid that no one can see me.

SA

I am a bit claustrophobic; as a result small spaces, such as elevators for example, make me uncomfortable, though not to the point where I would avoid them. Other than that I have no irrational fears - I have absolutely no problems with snakes, spiders, mice, bats, centipedes, slugs or bees, though I do draw a line at mosquitoes and flies, which are summarily executed when I catch them...

I'm afraid of zombies. Especially the ones with cell phones, those are the most dangerous kind.

CCT,

How terrible. So it's understandable why you'd be afraid of the chemicals and poisons./ However, you are grown now. You have no reason to fear them now. BUT being that the fear developed at such an early age it became a part of you. How sad. Who's to say your mother ever had such an intention? It could be that your caretaker was just being mean you know. There's a great possibility your mother NEVER ever even had that thought to do such a thing.

Setaki,

Wow. That's an unusual story. To live like that yet have money? How peculiar.

FormerStudentIntern...I am kinda afraid of heights too...because I fell off a ladder when I was at the top of it. Actually, the ladder fell too. I guess it was the ladder sliding and falling that made me fall. I was like 8 or 9. LOL. It was very scary.

Well as I said before I don't like chemicals especially poison .

It is no wonder really because when I went back in time

a woman who was looking after me at two years old

said my Mother was going to poison me.

I expect in the distant past we had to be afraid and on the alert

like birds are, the dozy ones were snaffled by the Saber Toothed Tiger or other predators.

FEAR OF POVERTY

I know of a man who feared poverty. He lived like a hobo begging for food and money at street intersections. When he died the single room he lived in was filled to the rafters with things and rotten food he had been hoarding over the years. His long lost relatives popped up from nowhere when it was discoverd that he had millions in his bank account. It also came to light that he had been diagnosed with OCD years before, but had long defaulted treatment. Like someone said "I do not fear death but fear being dead-alive"

Jimmy,

A very rational fear. What a lucky woman your wife is. BUT you know what? There's no saying that it will be you who goes first. One does not know who will go first because sometimes death comes very unexpectedly. LOVE her the best you can each and every day and maybe get some life insurance so that if you do go first she's financially protected and that's all you can do...

Right now, believe it or not, my biggest fear is Death. Not that I'm afraid of pain or suffering, not that I'm afraid of a mysterious or unknown afterlife, not that I'm afraid of an eternity of blackness, or damnation, or confusion. It's just that I simply cannot bear the thought of my wife being all alone . . .
