Yes, but...I think that's where they came from to begin with. Son's neighbor volunteers for a food pantry. He says that people who need food from a food pantry prefer canned Campbells soups and boxes of macaroni and cheese. I wonder what cabbage would be like in a Nutriblast. LOL

Since they're lighter inside, I think you could carve faces into them.
And people would be sure to give a good look at them!
I watched a film yesterday called HAUTE CUISINE, about Hortense Laborie who was the private cook for the French Presidente, Mitterand. One of the first dishes she makes is stuffed cabbage. I think she must have lightly steamed the whole cabbage first--a Savoy cabbage. When she takes the whole thing out of the steaming pot, it looks like just a big steamed cabbage. But when she cuts a wedge out of it, the whole thing is layered with pink salmon. I think she must have partially steamed it then pulled back the leaves one by one, and filled the spaces between them. It was beautiful!

I was going to suggest making saurkraut, but that would mean
a big stone crock and lots of vinegar, and who keeps that stuff around unless they've got a basement or a root cellar? Is there a food pantry you could donate to?

Well I can't tell if they are lady birds or not. the only cabbage I like is Brussels sprouts and Spring cabbage with little green hearts. You have too many at once not a good prospect.
