Happy about son Guy too - it was bound to happen with such a positive infuence as his mom beside him, but nice that it is sooner than later. Reading about all the structure required for writing scares me....I'll have to learn. Usually I just fire things onto paper...and that doesn't work....

Just as cold there where you are as it was here early this morning. I have so many things that I feel that we have in common...but you are more dynamic than me and have been able to by pass the procrastination Gene that I have; or is it just the lazy Gene!!

How cool that you're doing that. And yeah details are everything. Sounds like you're on top of it all. It should turn out great!

Pat
You can even make the mundane (pun fully intended, LOL) a fun read...Apart from that, the very best thing is that son Guy is coming out from under his cloud - all the best to him!
And I'm looking forward to hear more of what Simon has to say...

Editors keep such a checklist, in the form of a grid
with 4 sections. Each one is for one of the elements that tends to get confused over the course of writing a novel. One's for names, one's for spellings, one's for things that need further research or development, and one's for timeline and timing. It's all about consistancy and continuity. Sometimes more than 4 boxes are useful.
I've found that best friendships don't last a lifetime. We change, they change, the world changes. Not very many relationships can stand up to all that change. So I understand, about Fang.

Well you certainly keep your mind active Pat. It is nice that your Son is taking an interest in life again and a weight of your mind obviously. I am sure that your children are inspired by your literary pursuits, of course when younger there was not time for such a luxury.

I like the idea of having the checklist to remember names.
