How fun. We have always so enjoyed the Ren Fest here in the KC area (Bonner Springs). I haven't been for years but Son #3 has always loved it and I would keep Phil all day so his Dad could put on his fancy rags and go have fun. He made leather boots and gauntlets, a black leather hat, and even chain mail that he wore and then sold for a goodly amount of money. I hope he got pics somewhere as I never took any.

great pictures...one wonders why jousting but I guess it is just all goof fun and the costumes are amazing.
