I appreciate the fact they did no go in his room. Have a blessed day dear lady. I will write a little along, I am missing all of you. BP okay but still very tired. Love you and your wonderful family.

I do not blame him, I wouldn't want them poking around either...But at least it was quick and painless.

Hi TAPS! You're still here! Yay. That is quite intrusive. I agree.

I would not like such an inspection happening either...I am glad to read that everything ended up working out.

aha they were looking for anything that some one a year or two into the elderly thing, could fall over or slip on and don't want you to sue them. Cunning!!!!

POooh! A woman your age, using such language. I wish that’d take care of the inspection. In any event, lol love. BC-A, Bill’s R®ST

That does sound somewhat intrusive, but if it's in the lease and there's nothing you can do about it, I guess you should be relieved that they don't do it often! And I too can totally relate to your son's attitude! I don't necessarily have a "man cave" in my home, but a rather nice office where my computer and other essentials lie. Once in there and committed, I would rather be left alone as well . . .

Re: C_C_T

That's what I intended to do.  LOL.  It worked.

I am happy they chose to ignore the inner sanctum and let the door

remain closed. It would be a different thing if he were fourteen - kids that age may think it cool to bring in a python or some big hairy spiders or something...

what a crock!  I think they could see that from hallways and the facade of the building...glad it went well for you

You scared them Taps. No way were they going to open that door. If I had been your son I would have stood by the door and growled, but probably not at his age.

I can sooo identify with your Son! Living in my own house, I would never be in that position, but even if I were, I would see it as the invasion of my private sphere that it is!

It's interesting how deeply this whole privacy thing is ingrained in us. There are cultures where the 'private sphere' is very, very small indeed! Imagine everyone living in longhouses...
