When we were out that way a year or so ago we feel in love with the beauty of Missouri, I particularly liked the area around Hannibal, and I did think of you as we past through K.C...Both ways of course. I mean coming and going...Did you see me waving?

How can anyone hunt these beautiful and harmless animals with a bow and arrow? Last time I checked, it was the 21st century! Aren't these archaic rituals over and done with yet . . . ?

What a wonderful scene to enjoy there...I usually do not see much else other than a deer either at my house.

Deer are ka-razy this time of year around here - October's when
the most deer vs car accidents happen, especially near the university's 2,600 acre campus. There are hundreds of them, and this is high season when they fall in lust. A gathering of the guys does seem strange, but it must have been quite a sight. :)

That's a beautiful quote to start with!
I'm so glad your autumn is doing itself glorious! Ours is just starting, as far as colors, and today, for the second time this season, there is snow on the Peak. Though, even now, it the past couple of hours, it is less white than it was.
