That was a lady who probably describes herself as 'Just a Salesperson' so you don't get to thinking she owns that 'nearly' store.

OK...who else other than Home Depot sell and install ...I find up here that Home Depot is not as good as it was when they installed our kitchen about 4 years ago.

You describe it so well. It is so discouraging to have to deal with someone like that.

Your experience reminds me of my daughter who called in
the Three Day Blinds people for her new house several years ago.
It took three days to order, receive and install... but about a week between each of those three days. And of course, some of the wood slats were not right, being chipped or split... so, that was more days.

Many of these places have have this well-polished facade of competence and excellent service, but when your dealings with them involve a little more than buying an item off the shelf, you find that it's just make-believe. Too bad there are no mom-and-pop stores left...

I suppose it is a morning's outing for the um, salesperson. I think you should give this store the finger and move on Pat.

My dad experienced that too when he bought his Silverado recently. He pegged it for what it was right away and was still able to get the terms he wanted anyway.

It seems it was much easier once-upon-a-time to get anything done right.
