I swear you and I have the same bad luck, my furnace had to be replace too when I first moved in and its darn cold here this week so I am glad I did that. I tried using space heaters and they didnt do the job for me

That's a bit of a bummer, having the added expense so soon after moving in. I imagine you bought the house 'as is', which means you have to take full repsonsability for costs for repair? Fortunate that Mik can help reduce that cost a little. Are your migraines more frequent? Were you not on new medication for those?

Good to see you again! Even with a busted furnace this was still a good deal! And with Mik's help everything will be warm and cozy soon, I'm sure!

Yeah, it has been a while since we've heard from you, but I guess everyone assumed you were busy with the new house. I'm sure there are problems galore, but you'll get through them. Best of luck with the migraines . . .

Lo Sam, well whatever you think it is the best investment that you ever made.
I really thought the sellers would back out as house prices are rising and sadly some actually do this. Sam you used to say you did not have your house very warm, I just wondered if you feel the cold more these days. Sorry to hear that you are still suffering from the usual problem, we do miss your blogs, but you need to get well, that is the main thing

First of all, your son's HVAC training will pay off big time. It pays
pretty well, is needed in all seasons, and can't be shipped overseas. Secondly, since this is so close to your purchase date, the previous owner should compensate. It's hardly unreasonable to expect a furnace to work for at least one year. Your broker or your bank should have insisted on a one-year warranty on all appliances.
