Re: Re: Ciel.
I wonder what sort of brine he uses for his onions. It's important to dilute the vinegar. Then, there are those little onions that are simmered a while in balsamic vinegar, and served cold.
If it's all right with Addie and Chump, I think it's all right for us to follow their adventures. I thought they were a little older.

RePat..
Pat well I study the people who comment and build a picture of them as I am sure you do. I feel we are like the last of a mighty tribe. Three years ago they came riding in bareback on wild stallions. Now we sit and contemplate if a fresh warrior will ever come
walking barefoot over the horizon. Have you got a feather? I would like to stick it in my cap.

Re: Ciel.
Well just for a fancy I tried one of Archie's pickles. I managed a small onion but I would not want another until they had matured. Although he said someone had returned an empty jar. Now you have put me off writing about about the two little kids. They are only babies
Perhaps I am too sensitive
Have sugar mouse,

I don't know about raw ones Naut .I think it is worth the money to peel them. I think Pet is a bit too smart for Chump. Yes Naut better to wrap a good warm feeling around one and let bygones be.

Little pickled onions are an excellent alternative to olives in your dry martini on occasion - you should try them! I bet you Archie already has...I see Adnohr and Chumpet are becoming an item - is that Chump old enough for such dalliance? And yes - those two in the poem are clearly stumbling along on diverging paths, wrapped in the tattered rags of regret, LOL...

The onions and vinegar sound yummy.
I am sure that many can relate to whether or not they should give that someone another chance.

LMAO!!! I LOVE the story of Adnohr & Chumpet, especially if I get to call him a Chump!!
. I also like onions or cucumbers, or wild garlic, or pretty much anything in vinegar. Could you post a bottle, you think? Yes, as Ciel says, the second poem is about love lost and nostalgie...maybe a whispered consideration of getting back to what was then (never works).

mmm... cold pickled onion...
My mom used to slice red onion into a jar of tarragon-seasoned vinegar, a little diluted, and let them sit in the fridge. Even the next day, they were delicious on sandwiches!
Maybe we should leave Adnohr and Chumpet to themselves awhile... they are getting very chummy, and we shouldn't peek.
Here's another of your poems of the residue of a once-love affair... it speaks to me of disappointment. It speaks it very poignantly and well.

Poor adnohr! No wonder she seems overwhelmed sometimes! And pickled onions or raw onions in vinegar . . . either way I think I'll pass!
