It is quite astonishing to see people with a perfectly good computer buying a new one. In some sense they are now like cars were from the 50s to the 90s. It isn't whether you needed a new one, you bought a new car because you wanted one! Also I see now people using computers as hand me downs. Only these days, the parents get the old computer so their kids can have a new one for school!
Anyways thanks for commenting

Yes, it is amazing how quickly things can change over just the las 10 years. Remember what they told us the internet was going to be? THey said we would have all the information in the world at our fingertips, they didn't say that 90% of that 'information' would be useless :).
Thanks for stopping by.

I've had a mac all my life ( well, all of my computer life anyway ) and have had very, very little trouble with it. However, like any other piece of electronics, appliance or machinery, there's the built-in "planned obsolescence" that we all have to contend with. They don't make it easy . . .

I guess what happened is that the novelty wore off...I remember thinking how awesome the Internet was when my mom got it back in 1997. Now, I find myself taking it for granted.
