Yes indeed, it's a shameful part of American history, and to some extent of Canadian history as well. Having said that, evolution is a biological process, not a cultural one, and nobody who understands that (and there are many who don't, LOL) would think there are significant evolutionary differences between what we refer to as 'races'. There are, however, significant cultural differences among humans...
Oh, and Marx and Engels (whose work I know intimately) weren't 'evil' men, on the contrary - it's just that they were wrong...

Australia has nothing to be proud of re our aboriginal folks either Jay...it was of course all about having your land become my land...not sharing...

Talk about a contradiction in terms . . . or ideals. "Clearing away" the savage to make room for the "civilized" man is indeed UNcivilized! Or did no one pick up on that yet . . . ?
