Lovely nostalgic post, TAPS. It's nice to be able to sit and remember those moments.

when they are kids one thinks that this life will go on for ever then in a twinkling of an eye they are grown up and gone...I often wonder what really happened in the years when the eldest one turned 12 and the second turned 21...it seemed to go so fast and then there were girls and new families

Re: FSI
Peter had one of those. His Dad built it for him, and did a really good job. It was very sturdy and safe and roomy. He and his friends spent lots of time there. It's gone now too.

A lot of memories associated with the attic, I see...That is what happened to my tree fort. It was a cool place for the neighborhood kids and I to hang out but was eventually outgrown. Memories would flood back whenever I looked at it. Back in 2008, my parents had it taken down.
