Go to Life in the fast lane--where's the on ramp?

Update.
To Adnohr, there are only two big box stores here, Lowes & Home Depot. Our Sears branch sells tools and appliances only. Lowes won't install so I'd have to call a handyman. The Closet Install lady called sometime after yesterday's post, will be here Monday a.m. to measure and talk.
To Kabu, Doc wants me to keep an eye on the BP, which last night around seven was 131/61 according to my home monitor. It's always very high at his office. Barb, his nurse, always wraps the cuff so tight the process hurts like hell, and I get tense in anticipation. When Doc took it the 2nd and 3rd time, I was sitting at the end of the exam table, my arm wasn't resting on anything and my feet were dangling. I'm thinking their technique accounts for about 30 or 40 points. "White Coat Syndrome."
To Taps - Three days' use and then tuck it in a closet? Sounds exactly like something I would do. Things seem like a good idea at the time, and then the old habits take over. This time I shopped for the ingredients: spinach for greens (I can't stand Kale), and I've got some Savoy cabbage, carrots, avocado, almonds and flax seed. Also invested in frozen berries, pineapple chunks, grapes, blueberries - that should keep me going for the eight days it supposedly takes to establish a habit. Healthy food is expensive. Wasting it would be sinful.

I did Nutriblasts for three days after I bought mine, then it kind of fell by the wayside.

Take care of the high BP, Pat-B. Not to be played around with. As Naut said, kudos to Chris, and so happy things turned out for Buddy. Is there not another place than HD who could do that kind of job? It would be so kool if, when they finaly call, you could tell them - sorry, it's done!

My doc won't take my blood pressure, sometimes I take it in the waiting room
of course everyone slyly watches and it is always a bit high in there.
Things tend to wind us up and your non-committed unrepentant contractor
might be adding to this little scenario.

I hope the Depot surprises you...
and is truly apologetic, and does their best to make it right.

Pat
I hope that Nutri-Bullet is a magic 'health-bullet' for you. I churn up similar concoctions at times, but I just use my blender - I know it's not shaped like a bullet, but hey...LOl; and speaking of bullets: the cops couldn't possibly have known that the woman (who is said to have suffered from post-partum depression, not post-Washington-Circus-Closure anxiety) wasn't armed with a gun, after having used her car as a weapon...And I'm glad you're stirring up some sh*t at Home Depot - maybe it has a ripple effect all the way up here to our branch...Of course, the best news is that Buddy is back home, and kudos to Chris, from one dog lover to another...
