Re: CCT,
happily, I have not finished off the leftovers yet, and we can make a nice tea over them.

Re: thanks so much, Jimmy!
As I replied to Adnohr, there is a topic brewing in my head, regarding this neighbor effect.
As of this sunny morning, the day after, we have a chill wind blowing... definite jacket weather, but no snow in sight. Yet.

Re: Adnohr,
It seems to be the way it works, that silver lining business. I think we grow tremendously as souls when such things come down on us. Maybe that's why they do. I might have to blog another entry in my Universe blog, as I think on this.
And thanks so much, for the birthday greetings! It was a lovely day!

Re: Kabu,
You are one of my favorite role-models, and I wish we were close enough together in the so-called Real World, to have a big hug!

Re: Naut
I think you'd have enjoyed it... check out the details in the next post! Maybe one of these days.. on your way to Tierra del Fuego, I can cook up a little something for you. This time it was a toss-up, and the lamb won--or lost. (It was already butchered, so it doesn't really matter after that...) But I still have the golden trout in the freezer.

Happy Birthday to you, A Very Happy Birthday.
I'm so lax on keeping up with that sort of thing that I didn't know until now.
What a long way for your sister to have to go for shopping. Wow!

Happy Birthday again! I just got back home! A little birdie told me that you had planned a lovely dinner, and I tried to make it, but got stuck in Toronto traffic, which was awful as always, so I had to give up - but I was there in spirit...

AH - Happy Birthday young 'un!!!
Hope you enjoy the day with your guests and your son and your lovely sounding meal. When disaster stikes, people do tend to help each other out. We saw it here in '98 during the Ice storm too. Humanity at its best.

I remember all of our neighbors coming out and checking on one another after Hurricane Sandy. Yes, it is a nice thing to do; one never knows when one will need someone else! And let me be the first to post some wonderful birthday wishes! Have a very Happy Birthday indeed, and I hope the winds are in your favor . . .
