i spend more time indoors writing, catching up on reading where sometimes i have 2 to 4 books going at the same time, watch movies and when i am with my hubby we play cards, backgammon and talk a lot.

I love the winter time when the world is cold and white;
let it storm, I'm so warm snuggling in my bed at night.
I love the winter time even when the snowflakes fall;
it's such fun for everyone, even snowmen have a ball.
I love to skate and ride my sled,
even when my nose gets red;
I love hot chocolate with whipped cream,
winter is a lovely dream.
I love the winter time when it's cold and crisp and clear;
flames leap higher on the fire, it's my favorite time of year. 
Now that I'm too old to do some of the above, I just love watching my Florida grandchildren enjoy those things when they come to KC at winter break. I also love to mess around in the kitchen and bake a lot in the winter and make wonderfull smelling soups and stews. Also, I love to read.

Winter for me is a time to hibernate. I do a lot more writing during that time.
