Yes it does not hurt the first day, sometimes it takes two or three to manifest itself. You must remember you are not tough like me, I can lift half a hundred weight with two fingers.

Re: Pat it depends which half..
Yes I've changed my Dentist Pat I am fed up with the insurance fee ones, they just go for the cheapest system. I expect your gums have to harden, I should rub them with your finger or ask the chemist for a remedy.I have these big yellow pears you could suck them they are juicy.

Re: Love those peachy begonias!
Serendipity I think Ciel the same as I do. Yes I expect the begonias will be the first to go in a slight frost. The beans are throwing a nice second crop, been a struggle to keep them watered this year.

I hope your neighbours thanked you properly for the apples, by offering you a little nip of something interesting...I'm glad the kitty was finally accepted as a member of the famkily...And poor Uncle Arthur seems to be in the dumps...

Apple time. I love it. My mother used to get a great big pot of applebutter cooking. I haven't had apple butter in years. I have never made it myself.
By the way, great flower.

I don't think I could have waited 3 months before getting kittie checked out - especially when not feeding it. I'm happy it ended up living for so long in a home though. I won't tell Uncle Albert what is wrong - he's old enough to figure it out for himself. Beautiful flower!

There's a joke that's old as Methuslah about apples...
What's worse than finding a worm in an apple? (Finding half a worm.)
Frost will kill the allergens soon and I'll quit sneezing. I'm wishing my new teeth worked right so I could bite into an apple. In the circumstances I'll just have to slice one thin, sprinkle on a little cinnamon and brown sugar and bake it a bit, maybe "suffer through" a bit of cream on top... sigh.
