i just turn my tv on when i'm watching it... which isn't too much... i like my computer and reading too much.. and socializing with the neighbors... as if i'm so social...

I've never had trouble entertaining myself. We learned from childhood never to say, "I don't have anything to do." If we did, we were always sorry.

I love music and listen to it often. But the TV has to have something on that interests me otherwise it is just on for noise.

I have a lot of things that keep me busy its just hard to break a habit you have done for over 50 years and it doesnt seem to hurt me any And no I dont read Maybe I am a boring person because I really never took up a hobby

For me, the TV is just the medium to use to watch whatever I want to watch. If nothing is on, I can always play DVD's. As far as "background" sound, we have a series of music channels that I usually put on. And hey, there's always books, but I think I recall you saying you really weren't much of a reader either. Time to find and take up a new hobby . . .

When I am alone yes I agree TV or music on is company. But I don't watch it...It is just for the sound...It is a pity that there is no one at Curves to make a friend of...maybe some time.

For me, the computer and television are a big part of the entertainment process too. If the Internet and/or television is down, (i.e. power outage), I feel lost.
