I find myself watching less and less tv. Got rid of cable. Turn on one of the three PBS channels, or do something else. I do have DVD player and find many interesting DVDs at the library to check out.

I like suspense shows a lot as well...That is a great list of shows that you mentioned there.

sitcoms are okay but i prefer shows with some substance and are thought provoking....like ally mcbeal, boston legal, joan of arcadia...but as you can see the networks dont

I am with you. Not only do I not watch 99.9% of these programs, but I absolutely could not care about their Emmy's either! As for comedies, I like your list, and might add The Honeymooners, The Odd Couple, Sanford & Son, I Dream Of Jeanie, F-Troop, and others, all of which are far superior, and far funnier, than the garbage that's out today! I hope your cable systam has either TV Land or Antenna TV . . .

I totally agree It is such a long time since I saw a real comedy...I adored I love Lucy too and in fact have laughed at some of the things I did when my boys were growing up and I was acting like Lucy ....but I don't watch much TV at all...perhaps a tv movie some times or an old Movie....I loved the shows that you mentioned, remember the Golden Girls???
