Wow - the clouds pictures are excellent! Madame La Darque is photogenic too - her cousins up here are doing the same and hoarding for the less food-abundant winter.

You are welcome to spend as much time as you like in my garden. I used to dream of having a wonderfully comfy bed, set out in a woodsy garden. Of course, in dreams there are no mosquitos or sudden rains.

Yes, that's a peanut, or several, and you could probably crack one without your teeth. And, yes, I imagine that road up to the Peak is a bit slick right now, and no wider than it was last time. Of course, at night and in fog would really do the trick.

Yeah, the critters around our property are beginning their foraging and storing of supplies for the upcoming Winter as well. It'll be here before you know it . . . !

I spend too much time browsing through your photos when I start. LOL...and yes, that is definitely getting ready for nesting for a warm place to be during the winter. and then some very pretty colors from your gardening...I enjoyed every second i was in this post.
