yes I am as bad I guess but I think they showed love by the things they did but never really made me feel like I did anything that was something to be proud of

Yes I was loved but didnt feel smart and myself and my kids were too fat for my mom

oh lustorlove...the fact that your parents are proud of your children speaks volumes of how proud they are of you...you helped shape them into those children that they are proud of...kudos and don't ever forget that sometimes parents forget to tell us and just assume we know

That is sad...actually I don't think that they did praise their kids like us when we were little. I think my Mother was always quicker to criticise than praise. I always felt loved but not very smart.

I think you may not have given yourself enough credit. You have made many proud I am sure, children, friends and of course your parents were proud of you just did not know how to express it. You know we love you and are proud of you, just look how much we read you. Be blessed. I personally want to thank you for this post, it lets us know you see that we love you.
