- Go to About ‘generic’ terrorists...Part I
I think the generic terrorist you are referring to, at least in some form, might simply be called criminals, mad men, serial killers, or work place violence makers. Myself, I think of it more in the line of political correctness, or the governments way of diverting our attention for some form of political advantage, which in these days is not very hard to do when the media always takes the Obama governments side. Its how they protect him, its how the hide the truth.

INteresting...I am inclined to believe that any evil call it as you will, is a malfunction in the brain...as opposed to Brain washing which happens so much where religion is concerned.

Like you, I think that generic terrorists are rare indeed. Your definition makes a lot of sense to me.

Maybe I am missing the point all together. Why is any religion, group, or government who wants to harm or kill those who do not want to join them not a genetic terrorist. Most were born into such, lived in it and either agrees with it, keeps silent to protect it or joins it. What makes the difference? I missed the first post I guess I guess. I am pro death penalty but I cannot fathom anyone killing someone else for any reason except self protection and believe me it takes a lot to feel another person is really going to kill you. Keep writing the stuff we need to know.

Thank you, Naut, for posting the explanation. I can believe that there are more generic terrorists that one would want to think within the ranks of those hard-liners who seek to impose Islam on our world; they would be satisfying their psychotic blood lust while hiding behind the robes of those who, as you say, are protected by politically correct fools. I agree that offense should be the last of our worries - and that it could possibly make a difference to the reactions of those who are remaining silent while others lose their lives....
