Re: Jimmy

Something tells me, Naut, that you may be right! All it probably needed was a dram of grain alcohol, and that rocket would have been able to reach Saturn! Glad I wasn't on board . . .

Jimmy

Drinking it? What a waste! This stuff is fuel strong enough to propel a rocket to the Moon! Weazel should send his recipe to NASA...

Give me the business, swordfingers? Why, what did I do wrong?

Re:

Actually, TAPS, I did! I knew my brother was going to need a ride home, and if I recall, at least two or three others piled into my car that night as well! Jim's Taxi Service . . . up & runnin'!

Re:

I have a feeling, lustor, that it may be too much for anybody! Even the mightiest of drinkers had a tough time with that one! Tasty but wild indeed . . .

I hope you provided rides home for those who did partake.

Re:

Nor should you, Utah! Even though it was made primarily for a bunch of bachelor party revelers, it was still a most dangerous mixture. Any one of those alcoholic parts may have been fine on their own, but combined? I don't know how it actually tasted, but I saw the end result from drinking it! Not me either . . .

Re: JimmyA

Good for you, Sir Wiley! I don't blame you for an instant! If anyone in your position were to accidentally fall of the wagon ( God forbid ) you wouldn't want it to be for a concoction like that! Hope you're feeling better my friend . . .

Re:

Me too, Kabu! Like I wrote, I'm not really much of a drinker as it is, and, I value both my general health and my driver's license too much! Some people have been known to "spike" the punch with some alcohol here and there, but when the punch itself is nothing BUT alcohol . . . WHAM! BIFF! BOOM! . . . keep it away from me!

Re:

That's true, Annicita. I have been at parties where someone poured vodka into a cut watermelon, and I think I may have had some Sangria once in my life. But I think, in either of those cases, the actual amount of alcohol involved is nowhere near what that Weazel character put together for his Moonjuice! A dangerous combination indeed . . .

Re:

Well, FSI, at least no one can say I didn't warn them. Of course, many others have "experimented" with various mixtures of alcohol, with or without fruit, and have come up with a myriad of names for their final concoction. Moonjuice just happened to be the one that "Weazel" chose! But be careful! No matter what the people call it, it's still going to be a very potent potable! Always be on guard . . .

Re:

On the surface of it, C C T, I would have to say probably not. However, when a bunch of blokes get together for a bachelor's party, hygiene is usually the last thing on their minds! Yeah, and I guess I would prefer bits of fruit floating in my alcoholic concoction over bits of rat droppings! Dangerous, and yet civilized . . .

Re:

Well, swordfingers, I must admit I'm not sure of who you're referring to, but if they're friends of yours . . .  Yeah, if you value your safety, your health and your driver's license, you would be better off staying away from the moonjuice

Re:

A major "oops" indeed, adnohr. I was just thankful that the painting was just for a class assignment, and not for an advertising client! Then I definitely would have had to start all over again! Yeah, stay away from the moonjuice too! That stuff will really "cheese your paintings" . . .

Oh No now that is a fruit punch with more of a WHAM!!BIFF BOOM!! I am a delicate glass of champagne or wine...onmne only sipped with food...Just the fumes would kill me off. LOL

well i have heard of adding alcohol to a watermelon and what not...they do put cut up fruit in sangria when serving it

That Moonjuice has quite the effect, I see...I'll have to keep that in mind if anyone ever offers me any.

Of course having been nearly killed with moonshine made out of fermenting barley with rat droppings floating on top. Moonjuice sounds a rather more civilized concoction. My only worry would be dipping the cups into the brew, is that hygienic Jimmy?

... well i've heard of that though this was entertaining to read... fraid i'd have to pass on it too... i'm a friend of bill w. and doctor bob...

Catching up here, Jimmy. Forewarned is forearmed - I'll stay away from the moonjuice. The cheese-painting is a lark! I can imagine your thoughts when you realized what had happened. A major Oops!
