Re: JimmyA

I don't mind being called a sicko, Sir Wiley, as long as I got a few chuckles out of you . . .

Re: JimmyA

I must admit, Bill, I've never heard of "international cramps" before! An international task, that I can see. An international lunch, well, I assume that's somewhat similar to my international breakfast. And an international argument is what I see on the evening world news almost every night! But I have to assume that any cramps any of us goes through has got to be domestic . . .

Re: Re: Re: yes, jimmya... believe it or not i'm generally an easy going

Geez, swordfingers, you were all over the place there a little! Don't worry. I look for inspiration wherever I can find it when it comes to my writing. I have many ideas, many concepts, many stories I'd like to tell. They're coming, they're coming! Cute joke there. And don't worry . . . my toes are fine!

Re: Re: yes, jimmya... believe it or not i'm generally an easy going

personality with a hard casing and a soft middle... maybe prickly pear is an apt description... so SORRY if i stepped on your toes earlier... just really want to encourage your REAL writing... YOU can do it... I believe in you and ONLY YOU can write the ideas that you think of... did you know that george washington carver asked God to give him the secrets of the universe and his answer didn't come so he set his sights on the lowly peanut and BINGO he came up with HOW MANY things you can do with the peanut? God, as you understand God will show you the way... neither be afraid of yourself or the devil. if you truly seek Him, He will be found by you and your creativity will fly as much as it is grounded in the word... the holy bible sorry to say if that's never been to your liking. as a bonafide, real to God rocket scientist told me one time -- at st. jude's episcopal church in burbank, ca by the way... she told me re the bible that "we have to have something as our authority" thru jesus blood and His Holy Spirit we are led in the Spirit by His love. okay, i'll tell my joke... the only one i can remember... "what did one strawberry say to the other strawberry?" ... "if you weren't so sweet, we wouldn't be in this jam."

Re:

You're quite welcome, swordfingers. Things don't always have to be so serious. We've got to smile and laugh once in a while too . . .

Re: Jimmy...those encounters on the sidewalk can become

Believe it or not, Rumor, I have made that request of certain people at certain times on the sidewalk or in a store. Sometimes, after two or three "shifts" in the same direction, I might also say something to the affect of "Maybe we'll dance later." At least it has the capability of assuaging the situation . . .

Re:

It does indeed, FSI. I don't know about you, but no matter how good all that sounds, I don't think my "system" could actually handle such a banquet, even if I paced myself!

Re:

You're very welcome, Kabu. Always nice to put a smile on people's faces, no matter how it's done! I hope these get you through the week, until next Monday that is . . .

Re:

I know it sounds good, Annicita, but believe me, after a breakfast like that, you won't be able to move for a couple of hours! Then the next "international" thing you'd want to engage in is a siesta . . .

Re:

All meals, mariss? Nothing "American" to be found on your plate? No hot dogs, hamburgers, pork & beans, potato salad or fried chicken? Actually, international is sounding better and better . . .

Re:

Don't worry, C C T. There's plenty more where they came from! And I would love to know what kind of "cheeky reply" you would think better of posting.  Breakfast is served . . .

I think so too, Utah! Although, I must admit, I do know many people who opt to have such delectables for dinner! Or at least, at dinner time . . .

There ya go, Naut! And I'll bet it's been a while since you had Belgian waffles, a Danish pastry or Irish coffee, huh?

Re:

I've noticed that too, lustor. In fact, over the years, I've also noticed that I seem to be the one to always have to adjust my position or walk to avoid smashing into someone else, while no one else seems to do that! You rarely hear "Pardon me" or "Excuse me" anymore either . . .

Jimmy...those encounters on the sidewalk can become

dance lessons if both parties move in the sam direction at the same time...thats about the time "Shall we dance?" comes into play.....

A bit cheeky this week Jimmy, I had a cheeky reply, but thought better of it.

I'll be wise like Naut and settle for your breakfast. Keep them coming.

Yeah, it did give me a chuckle! It also made me think about my rather frugal and boring breakfast habits - I think tomorrow I'll go someplace have an 'international' one...
