This is beyond ridiculous, however, not completely surprising. It reminds me of an episode of "The Odd Couple," when Felix and Oscar were at a "fat farm" trying to lose weight. They were given empty plates and told to imagine "any food you'd like." The psychology was that eating food was more for the action than the actual food itself! Fine. But your body is going to need nourishment sooner or later! And sooner or later, some of these kids are going to realize just how ridiculous a ball-less game of soccer actually is, and walk off the field en masse! Or at least I hope they do . . .

that is just about the silliest thing I have heard lately. Little boys love kicking a soccer ball around....had to be careful how I worded that!!
