Re: Jimmy

Actually Jimmy now you have reminded me, my thumb is quite tender and has several little splits in the top, it is what we call wear and tear. I shall have to start wearing gloves to gather the produce basically for hygienic reasons and to give the thumb time to repair itself. I am afraid this is not a stone seeped in romance, it is held together by a very long bolt. Not unusual most of us are round these parts

Re: Justi

Well Justi, when I can lift the top off of  that magic mushroom I shall turn into a prince. I expect George could do it quite easily as he is a prince in your eyes. Thank you George.

Re: Kabu

Good girl Kabu you are introducing the bags to the world, if I had the money I would treat you to an ice cold Coke yes a man bought a bunch of flowers for his wife and was wondering whether to have a bag of apples, I could see his hesitation, so I advised him

that he could have three items for 1 pound, I am knocking the local pound shop into a cocked hat.

Re: Naut

On sale at any good gardening business. I now have seven thorn-less and one horrible prickly one. I save the prickly one for relatives especially the prickly ones. I am now a connoisseur of plastic bags Naut, I have one for frozen goods, one for not so nice goods, and one for edibles. I just call them bags so as to not become too involved in their frivolous nature's.

Re:RUMOUR...

Yes, one has to adapt to changing situations. I really fancy a hessian sack that one can send across ones shoulder , like we did in the old days.

CCT...

Albert: "He wasn't in the best of shape but he held his own and cleared the ground."

Mickey: "Come on Mickey. No! I don't think I like you at all, you smell of plastic."

Well, as they say, "Out with the old and in with the new", and that includes bags

Albert certainly held his own but life gets heavy after being bent out of shape as much as he had...and don't be too hard on Mickey, CCT...give him his chance to fit in....

a perfect laugh to start the day....

I've never seen thorn-less blackberries - there must have been an evolutionary accident in your neighbourhood...And you can even turn an old plastic shopping bag into a fun poem...

doing well with the selling, 2 pounds is a lot of money from someone...Love the old bag poem. I buy bags from here and send them to Australia and bring back ones from Australia to use here. Just to give lives a lift.

You sure that is not a large mushroom turned to stone? I hope you will take care and not get an infection in your finger. I love your work for the charity but I want you to be lazy some of the time. Take care, George said hello.

Poor Albert! Ah well, nothing lasts forever. I suppose you will get along with Mickey just fine...eventually. Be careful not to get infection in that finger!

It appears you may also need a pair of tweezers, besides the hot salt water soaking! And I just have to ask . . . was there a sword in that stone?
