I read one of the posts you deleted, not sure if it was 1st or 2nd, so was quite happy when I came back in and found another Pat B post to read.
Guy helping the dog is a high point for me too. One tends to find a sad situation for a member or two in each large family.

You remind me of how much I did not enjoy My Sis's 50th wedding anniversary celebration in Australia earlier this year....

Oh yes, I forgot to tell you that Peter says that he has never met anyone at Twentynine Palms that looks like your grandson, or the darling baby. It must be a big place with lots of military people.

My Son's yard party on Friday evening turned out about like that of your son. It was the hottest day of the year (102 degrees) and began at the hottest time of the day. It was planned for outdoors but most of the time was spent inside. No one complained....except for me.

Oh! kick your legs up in the air occasionally Pat. I imagine too much heat, is a bit off- putting for nosh ups. It usually rains here when the stoves fire up. I prefer ice cream when it is hot, but I give you a few stars for bravery, I usually avoid relatives unless cornered,

Pat
The best part in this post? That Guy took a rescue dog from someplace to somewhere! Kudos to Guy! And I hope you're having a nice Labour Day weekend in spite of all the depression-inducing evidence that time is a harsh task master...
