Is it now blond Pat it is unusual to see pure white hair although I once knew a young girl a twin who had white hair at twenty plus, her sister remained as black as ink.

one time i went to have a perm and they used too small of curlers...i looked like roseann roseanna dana from SNL...i washed my hair that night to get rid of some of the tightness and it helped....
i went another time and i told the beautician whatever you do make sure you use the largest rollers...she ignored me and her boss wound up having to fix my hair
the sooner you wash it the better to loosen the too tight curl...hope it works for you

I repeat, there is no such thing as a 'bad hair day,'
just 'good hat days.'
My mom always came straight home from her semi-annual perm and washed it, and set it the way she liked it.

Ah, no, JimmyA - this was a better hair day. And I would wish you no troubles whatsoever. :)

Snarky witches? I remember overbearing barbers - that's why I'm my own hair stylist these days...
