Back when I was teaching highschool, I had a writing class
of low-achievers who weren't very motivated, to say the least. We used to discuss a lot of things in search of topics, and when Anwar Sadat was assassinated, one of my "stars" was outraged. It was his first sign of life, and I helped him frame a note of condolence to Hosni Mubaryk. He actually got a nice personal note in response! I hope he saved it.

I was beginning to wonder whether you had noticed any of the disturbances...And when you say the 'League', are you referring to the Ikhwan, the Muslim Brotherhood?
