- Go to Eve does not stand a chance with Archie around
I enjoyed very much the present-day narrative, and the
Archie and Janie situation feels cozy and well-established all 'round. But the character in your poem is a whole 'nother type - and by the last line I was ready to tell him to take a long walk off a short pier. A secretary, the replacement sends the kiss-off letter? Ewww!

Yes always best to get your secretary to sort things out FS. We men are too gentle.

Re: Adnohr
Well Adnohr he was pretty miserable I don't think a night of passion was on the books she was tossing and turning all night long . I said you should have slept on the couch.
He sighed'she would not have been very amiable.' Just like woman,' Adnohr. 'His quote of course,' Mine is hear no evil speak no evil. Well anyway speak no evil.

Re: Ciel
Yes I suppose in every man there is a Father and in every woman there is a little girl.
Go on dear I believe that about a woman. I am a bit sceptical about the little boy part a little devil maybe.

That is because someone wants you to shell out again. What is happening to the cats.I hope a good home can be found for the healthy ones. I know it is a trauma for you.

Yes he's a bit too bossy at times Jimmy I can't ever remember him being very tidy before he came under the big thumb.

You sure it was not someone twisting your arm Bro. Archie was schooled by me to clean
chicken sheds out after each batch and we ate our lunch on the floor afterwards.

Re: Naut
Thank you Naut latest report he had a wretched night. She was twisting and turning all night and he brought me the daily paper and crept back to his home.

The apple tree is a beauty. I love the chariety you are supporting. We have something of the sort here called hospice. I love it. I love all your poetry.

I wouldn't even let Archie come near me! I bet you he's spreading all of Janey's germs around town!
And I can't imagine anyone not liking your poetry! It's always full of surprises...

What a pretty apple tree. I want to pick one. I love apples when they are still hard and sour before they get completely ripe.
I love anything you write. My problem is that by the time I read the second part, I have forgotten what I was going to comment about the first part.....such a one-track mind I have.

I like poetry, you don't have to put it down, I have to work harder to understand it, even my own, doesn't mean the poetry isn't enjoyable. Now about your housecleaning Brits are no good at that anyway, that's what the Yanks say Bro.

the apples look delicious...our wild fruit is lying on the ground rotting. Usually the animals eat it but i am thinking that ours is not as tasty as orchard fruit.

Kudos to Archie! At least he is trying to be thorough! But tell him that if he does decide to join the Cleaner's Union, there's a good chance his hours will change drastically . . .

I had to explain to someone once why women bother with men.
I told him, In every woman, no matter her age, there is a Mother. And in every man, no matter his age, there is a little boy.

It amazes me all that technology things can do nowadays. I wonder what things will look like even a year from now...I like that secretary twist there at the end.
