good for you and I always love vegetables fried in a little butter the next day is delicious. Mix them together, fry quickly and serve.

Spaghetti is another one that tastes better the second time to me.  For many years my husband would not eat leftovers.  I think it was a function of his childhood. I ate them as a child and the motto around our house was, waste not want not. My brother and I were required to eat everything on the plate.  There was no saving to show good etiquette. A few times we did not have food, which made us grateful for the times we did.

I have no problems with leftovers! And you're right. Sometimes cooking something and letting it "marinate" in the fridge for a day or two does make the food taste somewhat better! If more people could take a liking to leftovers, there'd be a lot less food wasted, and people's food budgets would improve dramatically . . .
