I have read some horrible stories about the young boys of the middle east, I know that a woman must have four male wittinesses to bring charges in shreia law. I also know that Anisita is living in Egypt right now, and wants to protect those she loves. I also know that it is very easy to miss-read something, that mistakes are made, and that God loves all of His children, Muslims, Christians, Jews, and yes,  Naut, even those who do not believe. I pray that the two of you can come to higher ground and be friends...God bless.

Nautikos

I did not read any post of yours like what you are responding to, but I love this response. I am very concerned about other people's sex lives if they are forced, bought or in any way comprised. The very concept these men are advocating is what they are wanting to bring here and anywhere they go. It is inhumane.

yeah well Wikipedia says nicely that he resigned his post in 2007 but in fact the Australian Muslims ...Sydney anyway...chucked him out cos he was making the gap in society wider.

I see and understand your response completely, and like you, I have absolutely no interest whatsoever regarding the sexual practices or escapades of anyone! I think comedian Dennis Miller said it best when he quipped: "There's nothing more fascinating to me than my orgasm, and nothing less fascinating to me than your orgasm!" But apparently, that's only one part of the debate. The other side is the overall discussion of rape in general, which, as any sane, logical, and civilized person will tell you, is blatantly wrong, regardless of the country, the nationality or the religion(s) involved! Sometimes I can't help but wonder where our civilization is actually heading . . .

A heinous crime by anyone, anywhere, at anytime.  That mindset for a group of men, or tribe, or religion or culture is a very scary thing.

Some very telling quotes and information you have there...As usual, the media remains silent.

oh my...do I dare comment???

Violence dressed with any story is despicable  and I wonder.. does it help to isolate any one particular group as more likely to commit any such crimes? If wrong is wrong and right is right.. does it really matter what " religion" one wears when the offense is committed?

steppping aside now....
