You described the job to perfection, I know because I've done it often and happy I don't do it anymore of course. I never used a partner to work with, life is hard enough.LOL

I couldn't stand it...I would be off to the Library and hope that it was all done when I got home. I have endured so much renovation over years...we need to do a bit more here but it is downstairs so it can wait...will get someone in though.

I thought we always use tubes of grout these days Pat I have done a considerable amount of tiling and I am pretty useless at that sort of thing, but it did not seem too difficult. Well I can always brag about doing a good job,

Renovations are tedious exactly for that reason, the waiting. Especially when it's being done by "helpers" instead of paid workmen where we can bust their butts if it's not fast enough. Most of my house, which seems to be always in renovation, is still waiting....it drives me batty too. WHen I get too impatient is usually when I have my first glass of wine.
