My wife has a garden in our backyard and works on it every year, planting tomatoes, peppers, egg plant and the like. Unfortunately, for some reason, the bounty is usually sparce. I help all I can, but we just don't know what exactly we're doing wrong . . . or what we should be doing right!

I'll keep this one. I've been wanting to start a garden for so long, but have to invest in a fence first. There are many animals around here ready to share the produce.

Of course and it is now well stoked by the media. Folk spend pounds growing two or three potatoes in a pot with expensive compost.  They should look back and source the way their grandparents made it happen. Still a good idea Judy , just don't spend the housekeeping on growing a row of carrots.
