Re: FSI, you may be right about autumn, but my impression

of spring is different - it always seems to come late in recent years.

Re: Well, Sinome, whenever the subject of moving to a warmer climate

comes up between Gin and me, I used to be the one who wanted to stay here where we could enjoy a variety of weather.  Now that I'm 78, I'm not so sure.

Re: Here in the Northern Hemisphere summers really don't

amount to much.  I guess that's why spring is so prized.  This time a month or so from now we'll be admiring the fall foliage.

I know what you mean, it has been cooler in the evenings here than usual for an August  because typically August in our hottest month in Texas!

I loved the poem Bob, it is raining here today, but was 98 yesterday and 101 the day before, and dry.

It feels like fall almost here too, and I am not ready. LOL.and yes, all the stores are starting to advertise and bring out winter clothes. Fortuantely, I don't need any of those.

Imposter maybe only for a short time, 2902. My friend in Saskatoon tells me they are melting with heat and have been for 3 to 4 days, and that it's on its way here. UGH! I'll take the August in your poem anytime!
