I think an attorney is necessary. The stalling is a problem along with your putting money in the house. I hope it works out and end soon so you can be at peace in your home.

What a time you have had with this house. Surely one day soon all of the troubles will be in the past and you will be happy and comfortable in your "perfect" home.

But if, as you think,, a government program has something to do with it...well...more waiting is quite possible. Those dudes live on delays! ANyway, you are in there, and working to make it nice...and all yours!

First it was incompetent agents and bank personnel, and now it's pee-stained floors! I can't even imagine what's coming next . . .

It's very annoying, of course, but you know the end's in sight. And keeping busy will make this last stretch go faster...

Oh dear Sam, this is a nightmare, but hang on in there the house is worth much more now, perhaps that is part of the problem.

The seller's lender is such a pain...My dad's had a few rentals where people let their animals go to the bathroom on the floor. I know how nasty that is to deal with.

I agree with the first two comments if they do not come around this time and make good in a timely manner as you seem to be planning anyway.

What Kabu said. An attorney in this situation would be
worth her weight in gold. Seems to me some agents/bankers/brokers/jerks will push a single woman buyer around just because they can. If nothing else I'd contact the Better Business Bureau - or the State's Attorney General - or both, and file a documented report. You could use your dated Blogit posts as evidence of their malpractice.

Please find an attorney...this is dangerous and I have a feeling that an attorney could sue the agents the sellers bank everyone for the trauma that you have experienced...and you have it all written here on Blogit to print off and give to an attorney to work with. This is breaking my heart!!
