Mike Ditka said that when one opens their mouth they verify they are fools.  As you posted it can verify what one is not. It is when we hear out of the mouth that we can clear up some assumptions.

This reminds me of baseball pitcher Bruce Chen. His ethnicity is Chinese, but he was born and raised in Panama and thus has a Spanish accent.

Over the years, I've learned not to be too surprised to hear someone of a certain race speak with an accent or dialect that you just wouldn't expect to hear come out of their mouths! Like you said, anyone could come from anyhwere . . .
