ReBlue feathers :

Yes I have bought expensive ones in the past , flashing lights etc., but I stick to the cheapies these days. Cool imagination.

I finally gave in and replaced my keyboard a few months back. They are pretty inexpensive to replace. I love your poem. I imagined a lovely park scene ...

Re: Re:Ciel

Just be ready with marshmallows and frankfurters on a skewer, and condiments beside the keyboard... if you spill those, it could be quite entertaining, as different things sometimes burn with different-colored flames!

Re:Ciel

Goodness Ciel I could not take £5 keyboard to a specialist. The dust bunnies have been washed out with coffee many times. You are making me feel nervous, if it starts smoking I shall have to unplug it.

Re: Kabu

Thank you Kabu, sadly this is not the first time, but it has been mainly coffee. Eek as I look into it now I can see little shiny spots which I hope is not moisture I forgot I usually use the hairdryer, but only after everything is shut down of course. I did not tell Arthur, what the eye doesn't see, the heart doesn't grieve.

Re: Pat

No it is as I said a dirt cheap keyboard, but It is linked to the back of the computer and I did not feel like messing around with it. Anyway Pat the good news is that it is working  no worse than it did before. If only we had the good sense then as we have now perhaps things would have worked out, who knows?

Re: Jimmy

Good advice Jimmy, fortunately I buy very cheap keyboards because I tend to knock the what you me call it off the keyes. I did tip it upside down and turn the machine off. It does work perfectly except for the nuisance of having to keep pressing insert as the letters tend to eat each other sometimes, but it did that before,  Now it is covered in spots.

Back again Naut, I am afraid Steroids don't mix very well

with alcoholic drinks, but I keep buying non alcoholic beer

and stacking it in my Hall way. What a nasty little wench.

Re: taps

good thinking Taps. I just was lazy and shut it all down/ Yes there are nice colours in dahlias and masses of blooms. Nice memories.

What a beautiful color for a flower.  The color reminds me of my mother's cosmos gardens that I always loved.  I have ruined several keyboards with drinks.  I keep a spare one now for drying-out times.

I hope you spilled the tonic water before you had added it to your gin...And it is disconcerting to find your lover in another's arms - such events best remain unilluminated! And I hope her aim was poor...

Shone the torch on their behalf??? No wonder she threw the shoe! Can't give you any advice for the keyboard - really NOT my talent. Pretty flower!

I think I would unplug the keyboard and then attempt to carefully clean in between the keys with a Q-tip and some alcohol, let it dry, and then give it another go. Worse case scenario, you just may need another keyboard . . .

If the keyboard is all gunked up, take heart. A replacement

keyboard is probably the least expensive part of the whole thing. Your poem is artful, and my thinking is, if she's flirting under his nose, she's not worth his attention no matter how pretty she may be.

so sad...such a lovely poem and to lose out to that other smuck....well she wasn't worth the trouble....sorry about the computer. Do switch it off and with a damp cloth clean off the sticky and let it dry....

I do not recall ever spilling anything on my computer. I am not sure what the home remedies are for that sort of thing...It is very tough to get over a broken heart.

That's one of your prettiest flowers ever!

Cotton swabs can help with cleaning that keyboard, though I probably don't need to tell you.  If it's sticky, though, I'd take it to a place where they can clean it properly and thoroughly, and also get the lint, and dust bunnies and bits of this and that, and mouse nests, and... stuff.

Funny little poem!
