CC, are you saying your mother was at Stonehenge? Wow,

I didn't see her there!  And where were you, tooling around in some war chariot looking for a Roman soldier to knock about?  And yes, when I fill out a form that asks my religious affiliation I put down "lapsed druid."

Re: You got it - painted Celts and Saxons doing or chanting

something weird inside the circle after a hard day of knocking each other around with swords and spears.  Yeah, that'd work.

Re: Dr J,you probably got everything I said the first time -

there's no hidden meaning, just a moment or situation I tried to find words for. I personally mistrust and dislike abstruse poetry.

Re: Re: It's sort of passive - you have an instinct of sorts for what

(Ooops) will keep the flow going and what will not.

Re: I like the imagery,

It was an interesting place to imagine myself being.  Never having been there, I could do whatever I wanted!

Loveing it and isn't it exciting when something just flows. Wonder if there will be more of druids and feasts dancing and perhaps a war.

I must read again. At times I am too literal that I miss messages in poetry.t

I like the experimental process you tried here. It flowed very well.

Bob my Mother felt it and hated it . I have felt it and rather liked  the feeling one turns into stone but it feels soft. Nothing to do with your poem of course perhaps you were a Druid in a previous time. Are you growing a long white beard or do you keep making strange incantations when frustrated. Example B***** H*****.
