Neither extreme has ever worked for me. I agree that neither is good, although a positive outlook can be good if it is justified at all on this planet.

For some people, hiding their head in the sand is a form of escape, or a form of avoidance of a situation that they either can't handle, or just choose not to deal with. Someone with their head in the clouds may be too idealistic and hopeful, but at least they're doing their best to keep positive and looking forward. Depending on the circumstances of course, I believe almost every intelligent human being out there has experienced a bit of both. Naturally, it would not necessarily be prudent for someone to strive to be just one or the other . . .

I agree totally. I have done the same as you. I have my head I. The clouds than it get snatched away by the sinful ones with their heads in the sand. Their fears get in the way as they take advantage in back and under handed ways. Much is being revealed so that I am more aware of their ways and can step back and out of their way so they fall into calamity along with their helpers. After many bumps, you get wiser.

Sometimes a little hope is all we need, and I don't mind when my head is in the clouds, I have made a lot of money that way, but when we hide in fear...That is a sin.
